The City of Lakeway provides weekly trash and recycling collection services to homes within the City limits through IESI.  To set up new trash service or make a change to your trash service, please call (512) 314-7514.

HOLIDAYS:  We provide solid waste and recycling service year-round, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.  If your service day happens to fall on one of those 3 days, then you will slide to the next day.

Christmas Day:  Christmas falls on the weekend, so there will be no disruption of service.
New Year's Day:  New Year's also falls on the weekend, so there will be no disruption of service.

Christmas Trees:  You have 2 options for disposing of your Christmas tree.
     1) You may set out your tree on your curb on your regularly scheduled trash pick-up day if it is cut
     into 3' lengths and all decorations have been removed.
     2)  You may take your tree over to the Lakeway Public Works facility located at 3303 Serene Hills
     (behind Serene Hills Elementary School and the Lakeway Swim Center) and drop it off in the dumpster
     sitting just inside the gate on the left.  Drop off is allowed Monday through Friday as long as the gate
     is open (daylight hours).
**Both of these options are available through the end of January, 2012.**
