beauty of our community
Objectives
- To contain existing oak wilt centers with oak wilt suppression trenches
- To provide guidance and support to property owners impacted by oak wilt
- To prevent new oak wilt centers through public education and enforcement of the Diseased Tree Ordinance
- To encourage homeowners to plant a diversity of trees, thereby enhancing the resilience of the community forest
- To assist citizens and City departments with other tree preservation and forest health issues
